Answering a call the customer placed is not telemarketing, so the 09:00 to 18:00 restriction in Cabinet Resolution 56 of 2024 does not reach inbound reception work. Two duties carry over anyway. The caller has to be told the call is recorded, and the moment you dial someone back to sell something the marketing regime applies and the list has to clear the TDRA’s Do Not Call Registry first.
Consumers put themselves on the DNCR by text message. 2211 is the TDRA’s current national shortcode; 1012 is still live and is the number e& and du both document on their own pages. Where the line falls between answering and marketing is worked through in the UAE AI calling compliance guide.
